York County Access Ride-To-Work Service Begins July 1 | Transportation
ROCK HILL – The City of Rock Hill announced the details of the York County Access Ride-To-Work service.
The service, an expansion of the existing essential service, adds additional capacity during weekday morning and evening peak periods to support work-related travel in Rock Hill. The service will begin on July 1.

Ride-To-Work service details include:
- Operating hours for the peak service is Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 9:00 am, and 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
- Rides must be scheduled at least one day in advance, but can be reserved for the indefinite future.
- All fares are $2.50 for a one-way trip in York County. Riders must have exact change when they board the bus.
An ARRA transit grant was approved for a total of $410,000 to purchase six additional buses, support marketing efforts and cover operating costs for the first year.
York County Access is a cooperative effort of York County and the City of Rock Hill, and operated by York County Council on Aging.
