Man electrocuted, father injured in farming accident near Rock Hill | News

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV)- A Rock Hill man is dead and his father is hospitalized with serious injuries after investigators say the pair was involved in a farming accident Monday morning.

According to officials, 31-year-old Jason Richard Roach, of Rock Hill, was electrocuted on Monday.

WBTV has learned that Roach and his father were farming near Highway 324 and Champion Road on Monday morning when they hit a power line around 10 a.m.

Roach died from his injuries, his father was flown to Augusta to be treated for his injuries.
