ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - A man wearing a wig forced two employees at a Rock Hill restaurant into the office, and then ran away with the money from the safe, according to police.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday night at the Golden Corral restaurant on Anderson Road in Rock Hill, a Rock Hill police report stated.
According to the report, an employee stated that she was standing outside the restaurant when a man she describes as a six-foot-tall black male wearing a wig and blue jeans approached her.
She told officers that the man pulled out a silver handgun, pointed it at her head, and demanded she let him in restaurant and take him to where the safe was located.
Once inside, the wigged-man pointed the gun at another employee and forced both into the office, police say.
The gunman then had both women lie on the floor and face the wall as he fled with an undetermined amount of money. One of the employees ran out a minute later to see him running south on Anderson Road.
Police called in K-9 units and searched the area, but were unable to locate the man. This incident is still under investigation.
