ROCK HILL, SC - The Salvation Army in Rock Hill says it needs to give folks in need nearly $100,000 and you may be eligible to get some of that money.
The agency is slated to receive $98,000 from FEMA.
But there is a catch to that funding: The Rock Hill Salvation Army must spend an initial $44,000 by the end of the month to get the rest of that allocation.
“We have to spend it so we are looking for new clients who need help with utilities and rent and mortgage. We are helping with that right now,” said Maj. John Edmonds of the Rock Hill Salvation Army. “They need to come and schedule appointments as soon as possible."}
