ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - Ben Ty, the Manager at Hoopers Bar and Grill, has a theory on who stole three kegs and 12 cases of beer from his restaurant last weekend.
"I think it's kids," said Ty.
Hoopers wasn't the only bar "Beer-glars" hit. Three others restaurants from Fort Mill to Rock Hill, claim the beer crooks stole a total of eight kegs and 55 cases of beer.
The York County Sheriff's Office released pictures from surveillance video at one of the restaurants.
In the shots, there are two beer thieves using a pickup truck and a car to load up the suds.
In each case the outside cooler locks were cut.
Police and bar owners say the thieves would grab what they could in less than 15 minutes. Taking mostly Budweiser products.
During the same time there was another four thefts at stores near the City of York.
